Dating Site Reviews

eHarmony Review
First up, eHarmony is NOT a free site. However, there are a number of reasons that it’s members choose to pay to use the service.

eHarmony is different to a lot of sites in that it matches it’s members based on compatibility. It analyzes your personality based on criteria such as personality and your core traits, emotional temperament, relationship skills, values & beliefs, life experiences and so on.

Also, many members feel that having a paid membership attracts a somewhat more serious demographic, and prefer not to have to wade through the countless profiles on the free dating sites. The aim of eHarmony is not to provide you with endless dates, but to help you to find your soul-mate.

Metrodate Review
Metrodate offers you a lot of features for free that other online dating sites will charge you for, so it’s definitely worth joining.

Once you sign up for free membership, you are able not only to put up your profile and browse (and this is where “free” often ends on other internet dating sites), but you can contact other members for free too. Free membership also gives you access to chat rooms and allows you to use the instant messaging feature too.

There is a lot of good information and tips too, if you are new to dating or have been out of the scene for a while. All in all when you get all these features for free, why not try it out and see how you like it? More information and your free membership here

Friendfinder Review
Friendfinder has almost one and a half million active members and free membership, though you will need to pay for some features.

As one of the bigger internet dating sites, Friendfinder offers you a number of membership options including standard membership, which is totally free. With this you can get your profile up and check out the other members, chat and send instant messages to anyone you are interested in.

To access more features, Friendfinder like many other online dating sites, offers paid memberships – silver and gold – which allow you to send unlimited emails to other members. With such a large membership base, it’s worth trying out Friendfinder with a free membership and if you think it’s worthwhile you can upgrade your membership later: join for free and meet local singles for dating, romance, fun, and more.

ChristianCafe Review
ChristianCafe is the premier dating site for single Christians seeking other single Christians, and there is a ten day free trial to see if the site is the type you’re looking for.

Although ChristianCafe is a paid site, with the free 10 day offer you can try the site out, get your profile online and contact other members by email and messaging – all absolutely without any obligation. While it is possible for Christian singles to meet on mainstream dating sites, many find that it is hard to find someone with a similar religious commitment. ChristianCafe makes it easier, as level of faith is one of the criteria by which you can search for a partner. Why not see for yourself with the UNLIMITED free trial?

FastCupid Review
FastCupid is an up & coming internet dating site with an attractive interface, somewhat more informal vibe and with both free and paid membership options.

As soon as you arrive on FastCupid, you get the impression this site is trying to do it a bit differently. Even some of the ads you may see are a bit more… shall we say flirty? But don’t get the impression it is one of those seedy, adult sites because it’s not – FastCupid just has a different style to some of the more traditional dating sites.

You can join for free and even with free membership you can do things like contact other members by instant message, but to get the use of more features you need to upgrade to a paid membership – which is actually decent value. Personally, I like the style of FastCupid and think it’s well worth trying a free membership to see how it works for you.
